There never seem to be enough hours in the day for me to get everything done that I want to accomplish. One of those things is keeping a journal of our family as we grow and change over the years. I started this blog, mainly for myself, as a way to quickly compile those special memories and events in our lives. And if our family and friends can keep in touch by reading about those special times in our lives too, then that's even better!

Chicken Enchiladas...

In the kitchen...
making chicken enchiladas for dinner...
watching the kids out the window as they play in the backyard.

Today they have decided to make a movie with my old video camera.
Shelby is behind the camera, and the boys are the stars of the show.
I love their creativity.
I love the way they can turn any day into an adventure.
And I love watching it all unfold through the kitchen window while making dinner.

I think...I HOPE...that I'll remember this evening, and the view from my kitchen window, every time I make chicken enchiladas!
